FedEx Express expands its activities in the Netherlands

FedEx Express is  deploying four Boeing 757 cargo aircraft to improve its next-day delivery service. One of these flights will connect Amsterdam Airport Schiphol with the company’s European hub at Charles de Gaule Airport in Paris. FedEx Express has also opened a new branch in Roden, near Groningen.

The arrival of the Boeing 757s, a more energy-efficient and quieter aircraft than its predecessors, reflects the express company’s ambition of efficient and environmentally friendly growth. With the introduction of the new aircraft, FedEx Express will be taking two smaller and slower aircraft, as well as an Airbus A300, out of commission.

The additional capacity made available by the deployment of the Boeing 757s will allow FedEx Express customers along the routes to benefit from an improved next-day delivery service for consignments weighing between 68 and 1,000 kg
