Amsterdam Airport Schiphol receives Air Cargo Excellence Award 2011

For the fourth consecutive year, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol received the Air Cargo Excellence Award in the category ‘Airports Europe – 1,000,000 or more tonnes per year’.   

The award was presented following the annual Air Cargo Excellence Survey performed by Air Cargo World. The survey asked airline representatives to evaluate airports worldwide by rating the following four measures:

Performance: Fulfils promises and contractual agreements; dependable, prompt
and courteous customer service; allied services — ground handling, trucking etc.
Value: Competitive rates; rates commensurate with service level you require; value-added programmes.
Facilities: Apron, warehousing, perishables centre; access to motorways and other modes of transport.
Regulatory Operations: Customs, security, FTZ
