Unique promotion

In collaboration with A-film (the distributor of Dear John) Schiphol Media organised a contest to win tickets for this very special event. Via several media partner websites people could win these tickets. To support the campaign commercials were shown via the Digital Meeting Point and posters at the Arrival Network Plus on Schiphol.

The number of contestants for this exclusive première was huge. Eventually 40 lucky contestants were chosen randomly by A-film to attend the pre première and enjoy a glass of bubbles and some nice snacks. The movie was a real tear jerker and a few tears were shown at the VIP Centre.

There was also a super price to be won at Radio Decibel. This winner won a free stay at the Citizen M hotel directly after the première. Afterwards all contestants received a Goodie Bag.

Dear John came out on the 11th of March in all cinemas in Holland. To promote the movie TV commercials were broadcasted on national channels where Schiphol is mentioned as one of the sponsor partners.
