Some highlights already:

• In 2010 22,5 million passengers departed from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. 13,1 million of them was Origin & Destination and 9,4 million transfer passenger.
• July is the busiest month: 2,5 million travellers depart in July. Most of the departing passengers are male and aged 31-50. 63% travels for leisure.
  
• 8 million departing passengers travel with a business motive of which more than 50% holds a decision making position. Their income is EUR > 100.000.
  
• Almost 88.000 by people cross the busy square outside Schiphol daily. On a yearly basis, this means 34,2 million passenger movements.
