Burberry Brandwalk

Schiphol is displaying the second brandwalk of this year. The well-known and established Burberry brand chose this way of advertising to communicate with passengers all over Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

The famous photographer Mario Testino shot the iconic image of the British model and actress Rosie, wearing the beige Burberry trenchcoat and promoting the latest Burberry fragrance, Body. The fragrance is a mix of absinth, peach and freesia, and was introduced in September. Passengers are greeted by the Burberry Body image on giant  prominent lightboxes and digital screens, all throughout the course of their journey.

The first touch-point with the brand is with the Kiss & Ride lightboxes outside Departures. The same image is then shown on the new hanging lightboxes at Check-in inside the terminal.

After passengers go through passport control, they face the Burberry Body campaign on all digital screens and new hanging lightboxes in the Lounges, the piers and at Holland Boulevard. The beautiful stills of the model and the Body fragrance displaying on the digital screens are alternated with each other to create even more interactivity and boost visibility.

Burberry Body sales are going exceptionally well. The first two weeks of October, when the campaign was launched at Schiphol, an increase in turnover was shown of three times the turnover for the first two weeks of September (index 317) . This shows the effectiveness of  brandwalk advertising at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol once more!
