Branded Christmas Trees
This year, Schiphol is once again decorated with hundreds of Christmas trees and a whole range of festive Christmas ornaments. To make them stand out even more, some of our Christmas trees are branded – such as the Miffy tree and the Coca-Cola tree.
The Miffy tree can change colour! If someone sends a text message to 3111 with the words red, blue, green or mix, the colour of the lights will change accordingly. The profits from the text messaging will be donated to the charity ‘World Peace is Possible’.
The Coca-Cola tree is so big that you can walk through it! The tree is decorated with Coca-Cola lorries, Coca Cola ornaments and reindeers in a Coca-Cola outfit. It’s already proved very popular, with lots of people having their picture taken next to it.
